Karin is a Shepherd slipper for women, made of genuine grown sheepskin and colored in stone, a gentle gray with a natural look. Its sizes span EU 36 to 42 / US W 5 to 11 / US M 3 to 9. Among Shepherd slippers, Karin is the one with a slight wedge heel, which lifts the heel a little higher than a completely flat slipper does.
Grown sheepskin keeps the leather and the fleece together, so the soft wool lines the inside of the slipper and surrounds the foot. Shepherd describes the material as pure sheepskin. Because every hide is different, small variations in color or surface structure can occur, and they are part of the natural character of the slipper.
The sole is light and porous, which keeps the slipper easy to wear, and the wedge shape is built into it. To clean the slipper, wipe it with a damp cloth. Stone gray goes with cream, black, lavender and light denim and looks pretty with a knitted cardigan, a robe or soft pajamas. It is a lovely pick for quiet mornings at home.
