A removable latex footbed sits inside and is covered with wool felt, creating a textile contact surface that can be lifted out when needed. The toe remains closed for front coverage, while the heel is left open for quick entry. Its flat construction is intended for relaxed adult wear by women and men.

Underfoot, felt is paired with natural latex to form a soft external sole. The removable interior and layered upper serve different purposes: one allows access beneath the foot, while the other shapes the slipper around it. Together they make this more than a basic single-layer felt mule.
