Everest Sunset is a HAFLINGER summer slipper for women, shown here in beige. It comes in EU 36 to 42, which corresponds to US women's 5 to 11 and US men's 3 to 9. The open back means there is no heel counter or rear strap, so you can step in and out quickly.
The upper is cotton, and leather reinforces it at the toe and across the instep. Those leather panels give the light textile shape more definition where the slipper sees the most contact, without turning it into a full leather shoe. Beige keeps the look calm and goes with white, navy, olive or soft pastels.
Inside sits a footbed of cork and foam with a leather-covered surface, and it can be lifted out by hand when you want to air it or reach the inside. A flexible rubber outsole forms the base. Taken together, the Everest Sunset is a light, uncomplicated pair for warm days around the house.
