HAFLINGER Bio Andrea Two-Strap Leather Sandals in Red Country
The Bio Andrea is a two-strap slide sandal for women from HAFLINGER. Its upper is made of cowhide leather in the shade red country, and each of the two straps adjusts on its own. That lets you loosen or tighten the front and the rear strap separately until the sandal sits the way you like on your foot.
Under the foot sits an anatomically shaped footbed of cork-latex, one of the classic choices for cork footbed sandals for women. It is topped with a cowhide leather footbed cover, and the lining is calf leather tanned with plant-based agents. So the parts that touch your skin are leather, not synthetic fabric.
The outsole is made of thermoplastic rubber, known as TR, which resists slipping and wear. The Bio Andrea is suitable for outdoor use, so it moves easily from the patio to a walk in town. For care, clean the smooth leather using a soft brush or a barely damp cloth, never soak it, and follow up with leather care and waterproofing; air out the cork footbed and let the pair dry away from heaters and sun. It is offered in women's EU sizes 36 through 43.
