The defining feature of HAFLINGER Everest Classic is its removable footbed. Instead of a fixed insert, this unisex slipper uses a cork-latex base that can be lifted out when a replacement or personal insole is preferred.
Warmth comes from wool rather than synthetic padding. Pure new wool is used in the boiled-wool upper and continues through the lining and insole, giving the slipper a consistent natural-fiber interior. That construction keeps the model suited to cool-season indoor wear while the simple closed-front shape remains easy to use around the home.
A thermoplastic-rubber outsole forms the ground-contact layer beneath the textile upper and removable insert. It gives Everest Classic a more substantial base than a soft felt sole without changing its house-slipper purpose. Care should stay gentle: the upper may be hand washed and should be allowed to air dry rather than being placed in a tumble dryer.
