The Burgundy HAFLINGER Marina is a women’s indoor ballerina with a closed heel, low opening, and warm boiled wool construction. Its uncomplicated slip-on shape avoids straps and fasteners, giving the slipper a clean profile that works well for everyday wear around the home. The wool upper provides the defining texture and structure while keeping the design light rather than shoe-like.

Pure new wool is used for both the upper and lining, with pure wool continuing into the insole. HAFLINGER specifies the boiled wool fabric as breathable and temperature-regulating, so the interior relies on natural wool materials from the upper through the foot-facing layer. The softly structured textile can adapt to the foot instead of using a stiff molded upper.

A 10 mm thick felt sole forms the base of Marina and is finished with a latex coating. HAFLINGER describes this construction as supporting secure, quiet steps indoors. The Burgundy version covers EU 36 through 42 / US W 5 through 11 / US M 3 through 9. Marina’s manufacturer care guidance permits machine washing at 30 °C without fabric softener and excludes tumble drying.

Fit and Care

Select your usual EU size within the available 36–42 range. Machine wash at 30 °C without fabric softener as specified by HAFLINGER, then air dry. Do not place the slippers in a tumble dryer.
