HAFLINGER Alaska Slippers in Alm Green Boiled Wool
Alm is the German word for an alpine pasture, and this fresh green shade lives up to the name on the HAFLINGER Alaska. As part of the AS Classic line, these HAFLINGER AS slippers keep the familiar Alaska shape with a seam running down the center of the top. They are unisex and available from EU 36 up to 50 / US W 5 up to 19 / US M 3 up to 17.
The upper is 100% pure boiled wool; HAFLINGER calls it breathable and says it gradually molds itself to your foot. The front leaves room for the toes. The footbed is integrated, and the insole is pure new wool, so there is wool under the foot as well as around it.
Under the slipper sits felt, coated with latex on the underside. It resists slipping, walks quietly and insulates against cold floors. The green adds color to neutral loungewear and looks good with cream, gray and navy. It is a cheerful pick for anyone who already knows the Alaska and wants a new shade.
