Berkemann Jarla combines the coverage of a closed-back slipper with an instep strap you can fine-tune. The black and charcoal upper is made from natural felt with a low synthetic-fiber content, giving this women’s style a versatile, understated appearance. A decorative metal accent adds a small point of contrast at the side.

The broad hook-and-loop closure opens generously for easier entry and adjusts across the instep once the slipper is on. Berkemann’s H-width Davos shape provides a roomier fit, while the enclosed heel helps the slipper stay positioned around the foot. Hand-sewn construction and visible joining details give the design a crafted finish.

A genuine-leather-covered removable footbed sits inside the slipper. It can be taken out for washing or exchanged for a compatible personal insole. Underneath, the lightweight polyurethane outsole is shaped for indoor use and occasional steps outside. The 26 mm heel adds a subtle lift to the otherwise low-profile design.

Fit and Care

Available in UK women’s sizes 4–8, including half sizes 5.5, 6.5, and 7.5. Open the strap fully before stepping in, then adjust it for a secure fit. Remove the washable footbed before cleaning and let it dry completely before placing it back in the slipper.
